Realtors can automate Google review requests after a genuine client experience using a neutral message and a direct review link. Apply the same invitation rule consistently to eligible clients. Do not screen for happy clients, offer rewards or ask for a specific star rating.

Automation should make honest feedback easier, rather than manipulate the result.

Choose a genuine completion event
Use a real milestone appropriate to your service, such as a completed transaction or completed engagement. Confirm the event in the CRM before sending. A newly booked consultation is not automatically a completed client experience.

Avoid sending requests to every lead who downloaded a brochure. Check that the person actually interacted with the business in a way relevant to a review.

Use a neutral invitation
Example: 'Thank you for working with [Agency]. If you would like to share your experience, you can leave an honest Google review here: [link]. Your feedback helps people understand our service.'

Do not supply a ready-made glowing review, ask for five stars or tell customers to mention keywords. The review should reflect the person's own experience.

Keep private feedback open to everyone
You may provide a way for customers to contact you with questions or concerns. Do not use a satisfaction survey to send only high scorers to Google while directing unhappy clients solely to a private form.

Google prohibits incentivized reviews and discouraging negative reviews or selectively soliciting positive ones. A review-management supplier should explain how its workflow avoids these practices.

Add modest reminder and stop rules
If you send a reminder, keep it brief and stop when the client declines or asks not to receive more messages. Do not repeatedly chase a review. Check channel permissions and account preferences before outreach.

If completion is tracked, use only what the system can reliably verify. Do not claim to know exactly which person posted when the matching evidence is uncertain.

Respond professionally
Thank reviewers for their feedback. For criticism, avoid disclosing transaction details, financial information or private correspondence. Offer a suitable contact route for resolving the issue. Route contentious responses to someone authorized to speak for the agency.

Evaluate the workflow
Track eligible invitations, delivery, feedback and staff follow-through. Also check whether duplicate messages or incorrect milestones triggered requests. Review count alone is not the full measure of a healthy process.

Genuine reviews can support customer trust, but no workflow can guarantee a rating or search position. Google's local ranking guidance includes multiple factors beyond reviews.

CMH Consultancy can help connect your transaction records and review requests. Begin with a neutral template, a genuine milestone and rules that treat eligible customers consistently.
